I'm looking to join or form an alternative rock band in Berlin. I'm primarily interest in alternative rock, punk, grunge and classic rock, and I'd love to create original music and an original band presence. I'm also a songwriter and interested in contributing to lyrics and the whole writing process. I have published two songs on Spotify (https://open.spotify.com/artist/6BR1KGslYZWLvVO1Q1aaab?si=uCy0-mghR2KcSvrLLGodhA&utm_source=copy-link) but for the future am looking for more of a grunge three-piece style music that creates an honest and live feel. When I envision a stage presence, I envision a unique middle between PJ Harvey and David Bowie -- colourful and stylish (potentially slightly theatrical) but still honest and simple.
I am a skilled piano and keyboard player, have decent rythmic guitar skills (but with a little practice, would manage to play many songs), but have a unique voice that suits most loud and quiet grunge or rock songs. Therefore I would need a more skilled guitarist, a bassist and a drummer (preferably with a creative mind).
The most important thing for me is a good band dynamic, that is welcoming to any unique character and all sorts of crazy ideas. I hope to create an environment where good music and creativity can come alive on stage and behind.
