Brendan is a professional guitarist, session musician and tutor.
A seasoned musician with more than 20 years of training, performance and professional experience Brendan has toured extensively and played at some of the biggest venues and festivals across Ireland such as The Aviva Stadium, Electric Picnic, The Guinness Cork International Jazz festival, The Dubai Duty Free Irish Open and The 6 Nations Rugby Fixtures.
Working with some of Irelands most sought after bands and acts he has supported big name artists such as
Fat Boy Slim and Janelle Monáe.

As a session musician Brendan is proficient in various styles including Jazz, Rock, Fusion, R&B and Funk. Through his session work he has played on various albums and projects, performed on live radio broadcasts (RTÉ) and is a regular in orchestra pits for musical theatre nationwide.
Brendan holds a B.A. honours degree
in Music specialising in Jazz guitar,
Critical Music Editing and Composition. Through Berklee Online he studied improvisation with 6 time grammy award winner Gary Burton. A tutor from the age of 17, Brendan has taught hundreds of students both in person and online. A regular accompanist for undergraduate and masters level performance exams Brendan also runs workshops in improvisation and musicianship and is a regular consultant for university students.
